Special guests at grand opening

FOLLOWING the exciting arrival of Unique Employment in their newly purchased Wellingborough town centre office, last month saw the team’s Grand Opening event, which found them honoured by the presence of the Worshipful the Mayor and Mayoress of Wellingborough, Malcolm and Veronica Waters.

Also in attendance at the event, as the Mayor cut the ribbon, were existing and potential clients, who had been invited to view the shiny new office, to discuss business, and most importantly, have a glass of champagne and indulge in the delicious catering.

Regional Manager, Adrian Ormes, said: “We are so honoured to have the Mayor and Mayoress of Wellingborough in attendance, It really shows their commitment to supporting local businesses in the town.”

Talking about commitment, Adrian also went on to mention the investment put into the business by the Directors of Unique.

“To purchase the premises shows that Unique are in the town long term, which will give our clients the assurance they need, that we will be able to develop our service to them, for many years to come.”

Unique Employment Services Ltd is a privately-owned company, established in 1998 by recruitment professionals with over 30 years’ experience in the industry. With their first successful branch being opened in Luton, they then opened their Milton Keynes office, followed by a Spalding office, Wellingborough office, and then finally, Peterborough.

Unique specialises in satisfying the needs of its selected markets, and building long-term customer relationships in the Home Counties.

They currently supply temporary and permanent staff to over 250 companies in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire and Buckinghamshire.

Branch Manager, Erkul Kavalci spoke about how the new office has improved business.

“Our new location is just fantastic. We are gaining a bigger, and more diverse pool of candidates with each day. No longer are we having to direct people, trying to find us,” he said.

“Having been tucked away in an industrial estate in our previous location, walk-ins were very rare. This meant the consultants quickly developed their skills on resourcing and recruiting candidates. The fact we now have these brilliant skills, alongside continuous walk-ins, I truly believe our branch will excel superbly in the supply and service given to our already happy clientele, which in turn will help a vast amount of people in our community looking for work.”

Business Development Consultant, Katie Hull, added” “I am so excited for the future of our Wellingborough branch. We now have a great location, to match the great team working here. With both of these, I know we can help many more businesses. Therefore, our next step is to expand our already-growing list of clients, and develop many more happy and successful business partnerships in the Northamptonshire area.

“I urge any businesses, small or large, to get in touch with us, for a completely free, no-obligation consultation, where you can find out more about our company, and the services we can provide. We understand that each and every business is different, and this is where we take the time to understand your specific needs, and decide together which action would be most beneficial to your operation. It cost’s nothing to approach us, and I may even bring doughnuts!”

The team would like to thank everybody that took the time to enter the competition in the April edition of Business Times. Congratulations to Maria Harris of Wellingborough on winning the £50 voucher. Contact the office to claim your prize.

Unique Employment Services Ltd is now located at 6 Sheep Street, Wellingborough, and their bright green doors are open Monday to Friday 8am to 5.30pm
