Based in a 12,000 square foot factory building on the Round Spinney Industrial Estate, Simply Furniture has a full range of bedroom and living room furniture, sofas and chairs and rattan outdoor furniture at competitive prices.
The firm was founded a decade ago by husband-and-wife team David and Naomi Morel along with Steve Barnett, after all three of them had worked together at a BMW car dealership.
David Morel said: “We knew a lot about selling high-quality products, working for BMW but we also knew that customers want the best quality at the best price and we got the opportunity to sell on items from a major retailer.
“From one supplier, we got involved with a number of leading High Street names and now we are able to source quality items at a fraction of the original price.”
David added: “What we gain from being able to provide furniture at lower costs due to our out-of-town position, we lose from the fact that there are still a lot of people who don’t know we’re here. But we have a factory outlet where customers are welcome to drop in and browse and we encourage them to come in and have a look. There’s also a new website where they can check out what we have before they come in to see for themselves.”
