While proud of all its students and reluctant to pick out individuals, the college gave a special mention to the students below.

Pictured are Nicole Gray and Masem Abbas, two GCSE scholarship students who joined in 2012, and all their hard work has come to fruition.

Nicole Gray gained five A*, three As and one B in the following subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Maths, English Language, Geography, Physics, Spanish, English Literature and Art

Masem Abbas gained threeA*, five As and one B in the following subjects: Physics, French, History, Biology, Chemistry, Maths, Economics, Geography and English Language

Others to mentions are: Chris Yang, from Hong Kong, who achieved four As and two Bs in the following subjects: Biology, Physics, Maths, Chinese, Chemistry and Geography

Part time student Stephanie Reynolds is combining GCSE study with professional tennis training and her plan is to take another four subjects next year. She gained one A* and three As in English Language, English Literature, Maths and French.

Bosworth students concentrate on academic and traditional subjects and with the successful addition of GCSE Economics to the subject list, and is now pleased to introduce GCSE Sociology and has noted it already has a high take up.

Overall, students can take a lot of the credit for these results, but the family and teachers play a large part too. Alongside the small classes at Bosworth, GCSE classes are usually taken by A Level teachers and Heads of Department. The college believes that this expert knowledge of curriculum beyond the GCSE exam, contributes not only to the success, but also the enjoyment of students.
