Sundial Group is thrilled to announce it has been shortlisted for a Service Excellence award at the Midlands Family Business Awards.
Now in its fifth year, the Midlands Family Business Awards is a charitable initiative organised by The Wilson Organisation and showcases the achievements of family businesses and their leaders, giving the region’s best run family businesses the chance to shine.
The Sundial story began back in 1964 when Diana and Michael Chudley bought Highgate House in Northamptonshire and transformed it into a home for their nine children, whilst also running it as a guest house. It went on to become one of the first country house conference centres of its kind in the UK and the family later acquired two additional county venues; Woodside in Warwickshire and Barnett Hill in Surrey.
Along with three dedicated meeting venues, Sundial Group has grown over the last 50 years to include a team building company and a venue finding agency. Today, it continues to be run by members of the Chudley family and has won numerous awards for customer service, value for money, facilities, food and industry leadership.
Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on Thursday 13th November 2014 at Nottingham Trent University.
