WE are really pleased to be supporting Cycle 4 Cynthia again this year.
It is a charity that has been chosen for the third year running by our staff to support for 2016, and prior to that we sponsored Macmillan.
This year we are providing the medals that are given out as the cyclists cross the finish line. A team of Chelton Brown staff will be at the finish line to give out the medals and congratulate the riders on completing the ride, whether it be the five, 25 or 50 mile route.
All ages and abilities are encouraged to take part, many of whom are in fancy dress. It is a great family day out and our team really enjoy being part of such a fun event. This year it is being held at Holdenby House on Sunday, 25 September. Full details are on the website www.cycle4cynthia.co.uk.
Chelton Brown are also sponsoring the SME Awards Northamptonshire – Best Customer Service Award, which is the only public vote category. I was also really honoured to be asked to judge the other categories on a panel of business professionals.
I think this is a real boost for local businesses and a great opportunity for small and medium-sized businesses to really show off their talent and be recognised for their achievements within the area.
We are also keen members of the Northampton Town Centre BID which does a great job to promote our town centre and improve the area we work, shop and live in.
I think it is really important for local businesses that have become established in the area, to give something back to the local community that have helped and supported them to be where they are today.
