Sweet sixteen

THIS is an exciting year for The Recruitment Bar, getting ready to celebrate its 16th anniversary in November, with a brand-new website and news that it is the proud sponsor of the local under 12s football team, The Falcons!

Director Rachel Fox, once recognised as one of the top recruiters in the UK by Recruiter Magazine, founded The Friendly People Recruitment Group in 2001. The Recruitment Bar is based in The Bakehouse Mews, in walking distance of Rothwell’s busy Market Square, which has free parking and is surrounded by the most amazing restaurants, wine bars and fabulous independent boutiques.

Rachel said: “We are so lucky to be in such a lovely town, surrounded by hard-working independent businesses and our candidates and clients love to come and visit us to talk about their job search or their recruitment needs.

“The Recruitment Bar is a great place to work and we pride ourselves on offering quality candidates. All candidates are fully screened and interviewed before being put forward for a vacancy. We believe our expertise, professional approach, friendly manner and of course, great coffee, means that people feel confident about calling in to the office to talk about their requirements.

“We are a totally generic recruitment business and work in all disciplines, working on roles from general customer services to a helicopter engineer. If you are looking to change career, we offer advice and if you are struggling to fill a vacancy or want a long term recruiting partner that delivers a quality service, you can call us 24/7.

“So far hundreds of jobseekers have enjoyed the benefits of working with The Recruitment Bar and we work with many local and national organisations to find the right candidate. But don’t take our word for it, visit our client and candidates testimonial page www.therecruitmentbar.co.uk/about/testimonials

Rachel, feeling very positive about the local area, added: “The year so far has been an interesting one, we have definitely seen the skills shortage make an impact but the market has remained robust, businesses are continuing to invest in succession programs for their employees and recruiting new talent.

“We have also seen good evidence that candidates are recognising the potential in local businesses in Northamptonshire and Leicestershire and relocating to the area. With quality new housing and office developments taking place, it certainly provides evidence of growth.

“I am really proud of our boutique-style agency and what has been achieved in 16 years. If you are unable to visit us in person, you can visit us online. In 2017 we saw the launch of our new website which looks incredible, shows our fresh approach and will give an even better experience of working with The Recruitment Bar. People can apply for vacancies online or simply send their CV to us and if you are seeking new people for your team, you can simply send us your requirements through the site.”
