Trampoline parks announces support for local charity

BOOST Trampoline Park in Northampton has announced that Banbury-based charity, Dogs For Good, are its first Charity of the Year.

Dogs For Good bring independence and companionship to many people through their highly trained assistance dogs for physically disabled children and adults and for families with a child with autism.

Boost are committing to raising £5,000 during 2017, enabling the charity to purchase and train a puppy, which Boost staff will get to name.

There will be collection boxes at the park, and Boost will be holding a number of special fundraising events throughout the year to help achieve the target.

Rory Dunn, director of Boost, said: “We are committed to supporting our local community and our new Charity of the Year programme is an essential part of this. With so many local charities doing such fantastic work, it was a very difficult decision choosing which one to support in 2017. However, I am delighted that we have selected Dogs For Good and I am very much looking forward to supporting them over the next twelve months.”

Regional and events fundraiser of Dogs For Good, Lydia Martin, said: “We are thrilled to be chosen as the 2017 Charity of the Year for Boost. They are aiming to raise £5,000, which will be used to purchase a puppy for the charity and support its first year of development. We very much look forward to working with Boost and supporting their fundraising.”
