JUST in time for the Christmas shopping frenzy, a Corby businessman has launched a website that acts as a virtual shopping centre containing more than 250 High Street and major online stores such as Marks & Spencer, Debenhams and Dorothy Perkins.
Click & Shop UK Money Savers – www.clickandshopcoupons.co.uk – is the brainchild of Shaun Coleman, who is already known in the local area after previously working at RS Components for 26 years and then establishing two of his own businesses in the town, Town Centre Apps and Focussed Magazine, with his business partner Craig Barber.
Shoppers can visit the website and either use the search bar to search for a store by name, or click on the store index tab and then search from a wide range of categories such as department stores, clothing, electrical, health and beauty and more. Users can then choose to use online voucher codes or receive cash back as they shop.
When Shaun created the website and accompanying app earlier this year, he pitched the concept to the London marketing agencies representing large High Street names and received a favourable response with many well-known stores signing up. Since then, other major retailers have started approaching him, and he can select the ones he puts on the site.
Shaun says: “Click & Shop UK Money Savers is a genuine site designed to save people time and money. Working with affiliates, the platforms now feature over 250 High Street stores and some big household names. People can be assured that this is not a ‘spammy’ site but one that is credible and secure and backed by some of the biggest brands in retail, which is why I am so selective about who I allow on the site.
“The concept is that you can visit a large shopping centre but from the comfort of your own home or on the go on your smartphone or tablet. No crowds, no pushing and shoving, just relaxing in the knowledge that your purchases are safe and secure and you’re saving money through a whole host of online voucher codes and discounts, some of which are exclusive to online shopping. I even know of people who go into store to try on some clothing, then come home and buy it through the website using a voucher code to save themselves money!
