Manufacturer celebrates Jaguar LandRover accolade

Staff at a rubber and plastic injection moulding company in Northampton are celebrating after the firm received JLRQ approved status from Jaguar LandRover.

The award is recognition of Burnetts Manufacturing’s outstanding performance as a direct supplier of components used to build cars across the Jaguar and Land-Rover ranges.

Being recognised as a JLRQ approved supplier has benefits in terms of quality, reputation, and new business sourcing, said a Burnetts spokesman.

Representatives from Jaguar LandRover, including global STA director Andrew Mclure, attended the event to present the accolade to Burnetts and tour the company’s manufacturing facility.

Burnetts became a first tier to Jaguar LandRover in 2017. “Since then, the relationship has gone from strength to strength and this has been recognised with the JLRQ award,” said Burnetts managing director Declan Murphy “The team have worked hard to consistently meet the standards required and this is something I am proud of, especially with the current global challenges”
