Opportunity on new trade park

THE success of the award-winning Brackmills Trade Park in Northampton has been resounding, with but the unfortunate demise of the engineering arm of Monarch Airlines, the largest of the speculatively constructed units has now come back to the market.

Unit 14 comprises a 23,124 square foot detached HQ industrial/warehouse facility that was developed approximately two years ago and pre-let for use as a new component maintenance centre. It was constructed to a high energy efficiency standard, achieving an Energy Performance Certification rating of A and boasts features including an 8m eaves height, two level-access loading doors, two-storey office and ancillary areas – situated within a self-contained and secure yard area.

Richard Baker, Director of retained letting agent Prop-Search, said: “Brackmills Trade Park remains an exciting development for us to market and we are confident of attracting a new tenant for this prominent warehouse facility at the entrance to the park.”

The 65,200 square foot trade counter, retail and industrial/warehouse scheme – funded by M&G Real Estate – had achieved 100 per cent occupancy, attracting an array of national occupiers. This includes Screwfix, Pizza Hut, Auto Windscreens, Subway, Easy Bathrooms, Greggs, Dulux Decorator Centre, Howdens, Topps Tiles, Digraph Transport Supplies, National Windscreens and Costa.
