Promotions specialist invests as demand soars

Directors at promotional merchandise business USB2U have invested in two new full colour digital printers at the company’s production facility in Northampton.

Demand for branded USB sticks and other tech gifts has increased since the government announced the UK’s roadmap out of coronavirus restrictions and corporate events resume. The new printers will increase production capacity and deliver photo-quality prints with a high quality finish, said managing director Sebastian La Porta.

“After a difficult 18 months for the industry, we are seeing business confidence slowly increasing,” he added. “However, this is set against the global transport delays which is unlikely to improve for the foreseeable future. This major investment ensures we have the capacity to deal with this increase in demand and ensure that we have full control of the supply chain. The ‘think globally, act locally’ mantra has never been so relevant. “

USB2U attended its first trade show last month since the pandemic. It was among the exhibitors at Merchandise World, held at Stadium MK in Milton Keynes.
