BUILDING on a reputation for quality, reliability and excellent customer service, Northampton store Bell has, under the watchful eye of its new managing director, moved into new design territory in recent months.

Founded in 1898, the company has long been known as a supplier of quality products for the home, including kitchens, Aga cookers, fires and stoves and bathrooms, with new departments and manufacturers being added to the Bell offering as time went by.

Further changes over the past year or so have further transformed the Bell showroom into a complete interior design solution, with new names being introduced and further concessions adding to an all-round service.

Graham Jackson, who took over as managing director 12 months ago, said: “Bell has a fantastic reputation in Northampton but I think a lot of people will be surprised by how far the company has come in recent times.

“Our aim is to be the best interior design store in the UK within the next three years and I genuinely think that is a realistic goal. We believe that by concentrating on high-end design led products, top-of-the-range furniture and kitchens and bathrooms, that we will remain a store to visit for those looking for the very best.” In addition to this we are very excited to launch our new ‘Lifestyle’ website at the beginning of June which includes inspirational images & videos, and the option to buy products from our outdoor category online.

Recent additions to the Bell portfolio have been furniture from the German manufacturer Hulsta, Koinor furniture and a new interior design concession Mills and Kinsella.

There’s also a new fine art showroom by The Rose Gallery and a range of aromatherapy fragrance items for sale, while the outdoor living department, which was separate to the rear of the shop, has been incorporated and visitors can check out the top of the range barbecues, patio heaters and furniture.

“Bell has been a part of Northampton life for so long but I wonder how many people really know what the modern Bell store offers, and how fantastic a place it is to come in and wander round.”

Bell is on Kingsthorpe Road, Northampton, telephone 01604 777500 or visit the website www.abell.co.uk
