NRI Civils, the Kettering-based groundworks and civils engineering contracting business established by Nathan Richardson and Ross Martin, has just celebrated its second birthday with another successful year.

NRI Civils specialises in main infrastructure such as adoptable roads, sewers, drainage storage schemes, off-site sewer connections and main services and associated building services such as demolition, site clearance, foundations, private drainage, domestic services and external hard landscaping

The company, which has a work force of over 50, has successfully achieved their targets for the second year and has a turnover of approximately £5 million per annum. The company had successfully obtained contracts throughout the last twelve months. This is a good sign the industry and general economy is going in the right direction and with a large number of houses going through the planning process at present it looks as though the market will continue to grow.

At the time of writing, NRI Civils has just been awarded infrastructure and associate domestic building works for over 300 homes in Corby alone, across three separate developments. “The company growth has continued over the last twelve months and we are very proud of the achievements of the company to date,” said Nathan.

“The key to success for us is to have control over the growth, and in this industry things can soon become difficult in so many ways if you try to run, whilst you are still learning to walk.” Ross added: “We have worked hard as a company to not only to provide a top quality service, but also ensure we have a great working relationship with our clients both on a commercial and production level. We are now benefiting from repeat business with existing clients but also well know developers are now approaching us due to our growing reputation within the industry.”
