Cause for celebration

INVESTMENT in specialist equipment has turned out to be a cause for celebration for Corby print experts Eazyprint.co.uk

Digital print is increasingly popular, but means applying foil and spot gloss finishes is more difficult – an issue Eazyprint was keen to resolve. In the end, the purchase of a new sleeking machine allowed the team to not only return to offering customers specialist finishes, but also to increase the possibilities when it came to personalising print items.

Director Janice Pretot said: “We went for one of the leading sleeking machines available and were one of the first printers in the UK to do so. Even the manufacturers were impressed with what we discovered we could do with it, and have asked us to provide training to other users.

“Last year, we put that experience to good use when we were asked by Carynx, who were marketing a high-end wine cooler to the likes of Harrods and Harvey Nichols, as well as yacht builders and owners, to come up with a high-end promotional item to introduce their product.

“Our Product Development and Production Manager Daniel Pretot and Studio Manager Jordan Rzymski came up with a stunning black and gold foiled package that involved such precise detail and innovative features, including sleeked foil personalisation on each item targeting the person it was going to, which has won an award in the “Digital Printer Awards 2016′. The judges described it as “Compact and unexpected, this is a design tardis. The wonderful use of materials and colour produced a fabulous luxury feel’ all of which was fantastic to hear.

“It showcases what we can do, and it’s important to note that this same technology is available to all of our customers – we do work locally for a wide range of firms from large organisations through to sole traders.”

Eazyprint offers a complete print service for clients looking to make the most of their printed material, helping to create promotional items that help them stand out from the crowd and get their marketing message across.

Janice Pretot added: “Our approach is to advise customers on how to make the most of print, offering suggestions on what will work best and how to market themselves through print. We’re not a marketing company, but we do understand how printed materials work, and how to utilise them in a marketing campaign, whether it’s a leaflet or brochure or business cards and stationery, we can add the wow factor that will help clients strengthen their brand to look so good they help but be noticed”!
