Providing an additional platform

ONE year on, the new Business Times website is going from strength to strength, as a second platform through which clients can reach a wider audience, as well as providing opportunities for additional online marketing.

The print edition of Business Times remains strong, with around 9,500 copies delivered every month. Each edition features companies and organisations from across the county within the legal sector, finance, property and motoring, as well as general news and features on Northamptonshire’s towns and business centres and industries such as manufacturing and export, recruitment and training and food and drink.

Now, all those featured articles are then uploaded to the Business Times website so that they can be read by a larger number of people, as well as shared on social media. In addition, an archive of past editions of Business Times is available.

Online advertising and dedicated company landing pages has increased over the past 12 months, adding value for clients who want a more prominent presence on the website.

The website has been developed in partnership with Kettering firm SilverDisc, which specialises in secure, stable and fast websites that work on mobiles, tablets and desktop devices, and which focus on clients’ profitability and growth. Business Times Publisher Julie Barnes-Ward said: “The new website was launched a year ago and has proved to be a very valuable asset for Business Times and our clients.
