Turning ideas into reality

HAVING an idea or designing a sign or graphic display is just the beginning of a project. Turning those ideas and designs into the finished items is something artisan signs has been doing for over 20 years.

The Kettering-based company started life as a sign company and quickly became early adopters of large-format digital printing. Today the company use their experience and expertise in both areas to help bring customers’ ideas to life.

Using in-house production equipment a wide variety of products are created to customer specifications – bespoke sizes, quantities of one offs to thousands, cut to shape items and other customised finishing to suit the end application.

Over the years the ability to produce larger graphics in one piece has grown, from 1.5 metres to 2.5 metres and now the largest pieces are 3.2 metres – creating truly larger-than-life banners and stretch fabric graphics.

These are perfect for creating an impact in reception areas, offices and exhibition spaces and there are a range of textiles to choose from depending on where they will be used – front-lit, back-lit for light boxes or block-out for no show through.

The high-quality, vibrant prints are finished in-house to suit any fitting requirement eg pockets, eyelets, Velcro or silicone edging to fit into frames. Artisan also produce the slimline frames for the fabric prints that will hold them under tension.

All of the process – printing, finishing and framing, if required – is fully customisable in terms of sizes and quantities. Help and advice is available to guide you if you’re not sure how to implement your ideas, alternatively you may have your own designs and specifications and only need to make use of artisan’s quick turnaround times and competitive prices.

Samples are available and customers are invited to drop in and see where their orders are produced. If you have a project or an idea you would like to discuss you can call 01536 522777 or email More information is available at www.artisansigns.co.uk
