INDEPENDENT land and property consultant Pendimo specialises in the successful delivery of brownfield and greenfield sites for residential development, helping landowners turn their assets into significant returns. As a relatively small company, Pendimo prides itself on offering a level of customer service that gives its clients peace of mind that what can be a challenging and involved process is being handled smoothly from start to finish. Services include strategic planning, the preparation of documentation, project management and promotion and advertising of the site, and liaison with preferred developers. The firm works with private landowners, local authorities, investment funds and developers across the country. Recent contracts have included high value, trophy asset sites that include a sustainable urban development of 1,500 houses in Moulton, a 198-unit scheme in Derbyshire and a site of 142 units in Raunds. Pendimo’s work begins with assessing the site for its suitability, using in-depth knowledge of the planning system to ascertain whether the site is suitable for residential use. Each local authority works to a five-year housing land supply, which means that where there is a shortage of land for development, the planning authority cannot refuse planning permission other than on clear technical reasons. Matt Oliver, Managing Director of Pendimo, said: “A lot of our work comes from approaching landowners to discuss examples of where we have identified potential sale of their land for redevelopment. For that reason, they need to absolutely trust us that we’re getting the very best deal for them, and that they are kept abreast of what’s happening every step of the way. “Because we are a small company, we’re not a large, faceless organisation and clients find us easy to deal with. Many of our clients are farmers and they want to know that if they finish work late in the evening, it’s still not too late to put a call into us to find out what’s been happening. “We work with a team that includes the likes of urban designers and ecologists to make sure that any project is viable from the start and as likely to come to successful fruition as possible.” For further details, contact Pendimo on 01858 414223, email or visit the website www.pendimo.co.uk
