Industrial units of prime estate

TWO industrial units on the Brackmills Industrial Estate are among the recent instructions brought to market by Hadlands.

Hamilton House, in Sketty Close, is an industrial unit with a self-contained yard that offers 27,178 square feet of space within a 1.2-acre site with 56 car parking spaces. The detached, modern distribution facility includes seven-metre eaves height, two loading doors and fully fitted offices on the ground and first floor, and is available to let at an asking rent of £190,000 per annum.

Among those properties where deals have been completed recently, Hadlands let office space at The Courtyard at Courteenhall very quickly after bringing it to market.

A former nightclub on College Street in Northampton has been sold to Fortress Estates. The 1930s building, originally built by menswear retailer Burton, was sold at the asking price of £975,000 is now undergoing redevelopment into executive apartments.

In addition, Hadlands has also let takeaway premises at 334 Wellingborough Road to a Lebanese grill and takeaway restaurant on a stepped rental starting at £14,000 on a five-year lease; 4 Abington Street in Northampton has been let on a 10-year lease starting at £33,000 per annum; and a 1,046 square feet workshop /warehouse at the Ross Road Business Centre has been let at close to the asking rent of £9,000 per annum.
