A MOTHER and step-daughter from Northamptonshire have decided to further their careers in housebuilding together by joining David Wilson Homes South Midlands.
Deborah Brown and step-daughter Jenni Brown both joined the Northampton-based division recently and are already settling into their new roles.
Deborah, who previously worked as a Sales Adviser at a smaller housebuilder, has taken on a similar role at the division’s Bertone Manor development in Barton Seagrave. Jennie, who was working in various sales roles for developers before, now works at the divisional head office as a Sales Progressor.
Deborah, who lives in Raunds, said: “I was attracted to a career with David Wilson Homes because of its fantastic reputation as a quality housebuilder and the level of support you receive from other members of staff.
“I’m really enjoying the fast-paced work environment and helping people in the area find their dream homes at our lovely Bertone Manor development. This site already has a real community feel to it and it’s just a nice place to be.”
Jenni, who is also based in Raunds, said: “I am really enjoying my new role within the division and the team atmosphere is great – everyone has been so welcoming.
“My main responsibilities include progressing sales from reservation to exchange, which I’m finding very interesting and I’m enjoying learning new skills.”
