THE Mayor of Thrapston, Cllr Craig Wheeler, sported a high-vis vest and hard hat as he was welcomed to the Charter’s Gate development for a guided tour of the site.
During his visit to the Huntingdon Road development, Cllr Wheeler was accompanied by Adam Knight, Managing Director of Barratt Homes Cambridgeshire and Andy Richards, Construction Director.
The Mayor saw the construction progress first-hand and was able to step inside a completed property, demonstrating the delivery of homes at the development.
Cllr Wheeler said: “It has been a pleasure to see how the street scene at the front of the development has progressed, enhancing the town and making the main entrance to both the development and town enticing and welcoming. I was also pleased to learn how Barratt Homes have used local suppliers and tradesmen to work on site.”
