Site manager achieves national recognition

A NORTHAMPTONSHIRE site manager is celebrating success in a prestigious national industry awards scheme.

Steven Kolodziejczyk has won a Seal of Excellence award from the National House Building Council (NHBC) for his work overseeing construction at Border Park, off Brick Kiln Road, Raunds.

It follows on from the Pride in the Job Quality Award he won in the summer and is the second year running he has achieved a Seal of Excellence.

Steven has since moved to become site manager at Bellway’s The Beeches at Stanton Cross development in Wellingborough.

Steven said: “It takes a real team effort to win one of these and I’d like to thank the whole team at Border Park for their hard work and support.

“It’s great to win an award, but it’s even better to see happy customers moving in – buying a house is probably the biggest thing people will ever buy, so it’s really important we get things right.

“I’m now looking forward to taking everything I’ve worked on with the team at Border Park to The Beeches, where I’m looking forward to building more high-quality homes for our customers.”

The awards are the only UK-wide competition dedicated to recognising site managers who achieve the highest standards in house-building.

Judging for the awards is meticulous, beginning a year before the announcement of the first round of winners.

As well as undergoing spot checks of the day-to-day running of their site, each site manager is assessed across 44 areas of site management.

More information about the new homes at Border Park or The Beeches at Stanton Cross, or across the wider Bellway Northern Home Counties region, is available at bellway.co.uk.
