Space to grow

TRANSPORT firm Wrefords has taken additional warehouse space at Barn Way on the Lodge Farm Trade Park, Northampton to cope with ongoing expansion.

The unit gives transport and warehousing group Wrefords an additional 32,500 square feet of space to cope with increasing demand for their warehousing services.

Laura Hawkins, Associate Director at Lambert Smith Hampton, said: “The premises has been completely refurbished to a high standard and is conveniently located for both the town centre and the M1.

“Block A Barn Way offered Wrefords the opportunity to expand their warehousing operation whilst being located close to their main site on Sixfields. It’s great to see a well-known local company doing so well and needing additional space.”

The unit on Barn Way is one of three that were available recently, but the demand for space is such that in addition to the leasing of this unit to Wrefords, another is set to complete this month and the third has recently gone under offer.

Maxine added: “Wreford’s Warehousing now boast over 100,000 sq ft of both serviced and occupied warehousing space in Northampton across 3 sites, and are pleased to be adding to their existing portfolio of fantastic clients with whom they have long standing and great relationships, a local firm offering another great service – its great news for their ‘One Stop Shop’ operation’.
