Lofty expansion leads to warehouse opportunity

WITH successes such as the installation of the famous Christmas tree at Trafalgar Square in London and projects like the Waterloo Station Super Puma helicopter plant lifts and the bridge installation on the Bedford bypass, it is not surprising that Radius has sought the need for larger premises in Northampton.

The company can fulfil any crane project in the UK, whether it be to supply a tower crane – through its partnership agreement with NFT – or managing and consulting on a variety of projects. Radius has acquired a modern detached warehouse facility on Gladstone Close through Prop-Search. The facility totals just under 39,700 square feet on a 3.3-acre site and is fitted to a good specification with some 5,000 square feet of offices, and large self-contained yard area.

Radius has subsequently instructed Prop-Search to list its former premises; Equilibrium House at Mansion Close, on the Moulton Park Industrial Estate. The HQ hybrid business unit comprises 10,000 square feet and has recently been comprehensively refurbished to include two-storey offices of approaching 4,000 square feet providing a mix of open plan and cellular accommodation, prestigious reception and well-appointed staff facilities. The detached property occupies a site of approximately half an acre and offers 22 linear car parking spaces.

Prop-Search is seeking to let the facility on the basis of a new lease agreement, with terms to be agreed and is quoting a guide rent of £70,000 per annum exclusive.

Further information can be obtained from Prop-Search on 01604 492000 or at the website www.prop-search.com
