Retaining its roots in town

A LOCAL manufacturing company has completed the purchase of a new facility to aid its future expansion plans – retaining its roots in Rushden.

TR Lawman has acquired the freehold interest of a 19,000 sq ft industrial building at 5 Sanders Lodge Industrial Estate in Rushden, from commercial property agent Prop-Search acting on behalf of local property investor Bluroc. The detached unit occupies a secure yard area and has recently been refurbished to offer a new roof and external cladding.

TRL commenced life in 1973 as a component manufacturing company offering primarily press cutting facilities to the local footwear manufacturing industry. Over the following decades the business has grown organically and by acquisition to the point where TRL now provides products, materials and services to a wide variety of different industries, although many of them are still principally footwear related.

Prop-Search has subsequently been retained by TRL to market its former premises, also located within the Sanders Lodge Industrial Estate. Fronting Wellingborough Road, the 9,621 sq ft production unit offers a highly visible location with direct access to the A45 dual carriageway. It incorporates integral two-storey offices and is located within a large fully fenced and gated yard.

The facility is immediately available to let on a new lease and further information regarding terms can be obtained from Prop-Search on 01933 223300 or via the website www.prop-search.com
