CUSTOMER service at Holiday Inn Corby has moved up another notch with the investment in a new system which puts guests in direct contact with the duty manager.

Now guests can request anything from extra drinks to fresh towels via their mobile phones using the new system called Quore. The messages go direct to the duty manager and the team which means a faster response and improved customer service.

General Manager Martyn Hewitt said: "We are always looking for ways to enhance our customer service and believe Quore will bring real benefits to guests and help us to improve the way different departments work together.

"This is a tried and tested system which is being rolled out across our Holiday Inn, we believe it will mean we can respond even quicker to the needs of our guests."

The new system is just part of the multi-million investment which has been made at the 110-bedroom hotel where it is now possible to host events for over 700 people.

It means visitors can be rightly impressed with the hotel's facilities which include free high speed wi-fi on site, a refurbished on-site gym, fitness and pool area 3D Health and Fitness Corby and the beauty salon Pampered and Polished.

The Open Lobby space, which is open to non-residents, boasts a dining area which includes a chefs' station, bar and a 'to go' cafe serving Starbucks coffee.

Martyn said: "We are really pleased with the refurbishment and the feedback from guests is that we are impressed with what we have to offer. The hotel now has a fresh, contemporary look which is warm and inviting, helping guests relax and feel at home. This is a fantastic new space which is ideal for business or leisure and our new rooms are comfortably the best in the area."
