It’s been an exciting time for Welcomm Communications as they announce their latest expansion plans as well as strengthen ties with Network giant O2 and Telecoms specialist Gamma.

Having just signed a five-year contract with O2, Welcomm now joins their new Direct Partner Network further endorsing the trusted partner status they have had with O2 since 2008.

In addition, Welcomm also announce they’ve gained Gamma Platinum partner status. This comes having signed a three-year contract with Gamma, one of the UK’s biggest suppliers of voice and data communication services.

“I am delighted that Welcomm has invested in becoming one of Gamma’s strategic Platinum Partners. The telecoms industry is changing rapidly and Welcomm are putting themselves at the forefront of this change to the benefit of their customers,” said Bob Falconer, CEO, Gamma.

Welcomm have seen a 332 per cent increase in sales in the past year since introducing Gamma’s hosted voice service, Horizon, to their portfolio last year. This is as a result of developing their support team and working closely with Gamma to ensure a smooth service for their customers.

Rachel Brooks, Operations Director, Welcomm, said: “We believe in constantly updating our knowledge and Gamma are by far the best at supporting this, offering great training. Having worked with other vendors where the services are disjointed and not completely joined up, we have suffered delays in resolving customer issues.

“This was one of the key drivers for us when moving to Horizon, to ensure we could deliver a far better customer experience.

The add on applications that are also available with Gamma allowed us to deliver a better fit and service for our customers.”

The dramatic rise in sales since deploying Horizon, along with their new partner statuses has prompted Welcomm’s recent recruitment drive. This includes ten new roles across their unified support team and consultant team as well as new positions to bring continued growth to their O2 Digital services.

These new partner statuses and recent recruitment drive will not only generate further growth for the Market Harborough-based communications specialist, but will also promote their profile as a trusted unified provider. Welcomm will be further enhancing their customer service offering, by expanding their support teams and taking advantage of the additional commercial support, marketing, training and service support these national suppliers can provide.
