IT’S almost Gerry and Bob Rendle’s 25th anniversary at The Stags Head. Rewind 25 years and their first step was to ensure that the atmosphere at the Great Doddington pub was as warm and welcoming as possible. Gerry Rendle said: “We knew exactly what we liked and didn’t like about pubs and we set about making The Stag’s Head somewhere we would want to visit. It’s about training the right staff and creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere so our customers want to return.” “We’ve always made sure we get to know our regular customers and make those that visit less frequently also feel most welcome”.
