Saf Choudhury, who runs the Kingsley Park Terrace restaurant, said: “The takeaway side of our restaurant is always very busy and it is, of course, perfect for feeding a group of friends, or if you want to pick something up on your way home at the end of a day out.
“But what people may not know is that we offer outside catering – so if you’re planning a summer party and you don’t want to spend a lot of time preparing food, we can help.
“There’s a wide range of options to suit all tastes, from hot curries to milder dishes. We’ll work with you to put together a menu, and then deliver it all on the day at a time to suit you.”
Imli Lounge also offers Indian-style barbecue packs comprising a selection of meats, salads and sauces that can then be cooked at home in the gardens without all the hassle of having to marinade meats and preparing salads and sauces for a completely different barbeque dining experience.
The four-person pack is £39.95 and there’s a pack for two at £19.95.
The Sunday Buffet is also popular with those who don’t want to cook a big meal in the middle of the day. The all-you-can-eat special buffet is just £8.95 per person or £4.95 for under-12s and is available from midday to 5pm.
Saf added: “Our buffet is a perfect way to enjoy a meal with family and friends and to try new things. The dishes included in the buffet change regularly, so there’s always something different on offer, and you can eat as much of it as you like.
“We’re open seven days a week and our menu includes all the traditional Indian favourites as well as lighter, healthier dishes with fish and fresh vegetables, and we have a selection of house specials where you’ll find things you maybe haven’t come across before.”
