From trainee to partner: ‘The career path I was seeking’

He joined professional services firm MHA MacIntyre Hudson as a trainee. Now Nathan Sutcliffe pictured is celebrating his promotion to tax partner at the firm’s office in Northampton.

He will be at the head of the firm’s development of its work with entrepreneurial families and transactional advisory services.

“I am delighted to be joining the partnership at MHA as a tax partner which I originally joined as a trainee,” says Mr Sutcliffe. “During this time there has been significant growth across the firm and they have supported my journey and provided the career path I was seeking. We work with many fantastic entrepreneurs and high net-worth clients for whom we are continuously developing our offering.”

Mr Sutcliffe’s promotion is part of a series of promotions and new appointments at the firm’s regional office. Alastair Cassels has joined MHA’s office in Milton Keynes from Volkswagen to expand the expertise within the automotive team.

n Environmental social and governance risk assessment expert Jose De Mayne Hopkins has joined MHA MacIntyre Hudson as its ESG technical director. Before joining MHA MacIntyre Hudson he was a senior manager at KPMG UK working with internal teams and clients on climate risk, accounting, assurance and financial reporting standards.
