Merger results in specific support for businesses

TWO businesswomen from Northampton, who each ran their own companies, have merged their firms to enhance and strengthen their offering to clients.

Lindsey Marriott and Charlotte Green met at a networking event and discovered a strong synergy that could work well together. After several discussions, it was clear that their skills and experience would complement each other, and they decided to stop trading independently and create a new business called Specific Learning & Coaching.

Lindsey is a customer service specialist and, through her company LJM Associates, worked closely with leadership teams to implement and cascade positive change. She also helped them improve their customer journeys and transform their organisations through customer and employee feedback, culminating in the launch of The REAP Network, an online, real-time survey software created by Lindsey last year.

Charlotte is a business operations specialist and, through her business Charlotte Green Coaching, worked with businesses to streamline processes and provide leaders with support and structure to manage people and processes in high volume environments. As a qualified neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) practitioner, Charlotte worked with leaders and teams to change mindset and business cultures to improve operational effectiveness and customer outcomes.

Now, Lindsey and Charlotte work together and offer specific solutions to businesses, specialising in those with a remote workforce, multi-sites and people on the move. They offer blended learning and coaching solutions including online, face to face and via Skype and Zoom Rooms.

“There are now three key strands to our business,” said Charlotte. “We identify and verify the issues, we strengthen leadership skills and we offer ongoing support to maintain competency, all with measurable results.

“Our diagnostics tool, REAP Network, provides valuable data to our clients, enabling a detailed view of company culture and signposting areas for improvement,” explains Lindsey. “We create a clear and targeted plan that gets to the heart of issues quickly. It is bespoke and specific, hence the new company name.”

Lindsey and Charlotte launched their new company at a business exhibition and their blended experience, passion and ‘think big’ approach to helping businesses includes working with talented and experienced associates.

“The more we talked, the more we could see how our skills and experience complemented each other and could significantly grow our client offer,” added Lindsey.

Specific Learning & Coaching operates out of an office in Milton Malsor. To find out more, follow Specific Learning & Coaching on Facebook or call 01604 212734.
