Optimism for the year ahead

WHAT a year for C Butt. A return to profit, successful BRC accreditation for food logistics and finishing the year with one of the longest peak periods in recent memory. Joint Managing Directors Jonathan and Robert Butt are very optimistic for the new year as well.

Jonathan said: “2018 has turned out to be a very good year for all, lots of positive activity plus good order books moving into 2019. It always fantastic to welcome new customers, but in many ways growing with existing customers and contract retention really shows what C Butt Ltd is all about.”

Robert Butt added: “The recent change in strategy to focus more within Northamptonshire-based businesses has helped the business to flourish, C Butt Ltd continues to operate UK wide but we are always proud to bring new local business partnerships onboard.”

Charles Butt acquired his first vehicle in 1919 after returning from service in the First World War, although this isn’t the centenary of the incorporation of the business which is due in 2026, but it’s certainly a milestone to remember. It’s great that 100 years later, businesses in Northamptonshire still turn to C Butt Ltd when they have a requirement for high quality storage and distribution.

“Whilst the business has branched into the burgeoning food and drinks logistic sector with some notable success, C Butt Ltd continue their flexible philosophy to provide a service that the Butt family are rightly proud of.

“The team at C Butt Ltd wish all our staff, customers and suppliers a very merry Christmas and a great new year.”
