Prestigious project nears completion

EAST Northamptonshire Council is just months away from opening Enterprise Centre, East Northants and construction is well under way to deliver this prestigious project.

East Northamptonshire Council (ENC), South East Midlands Local Enterprise Partnership (SEMLEP) and ASHE construction marked the completion of key milestones this autumn with the completion of the steel frame in August, and the roof in November, ahead of its opening in spring 2020.

Once open, the Enterprise Centre will provide small and micro enterprises with a business space for their business while they receive support from the council’s economic growth arm, Enterprising East Northants and make meaningful connections with their neighbouring businesses.

A spokesperson for East Northamptonshire Council, said: “We are passionate about driving sustainable economic growth in East Northamptonshire, and Enterprise Centre, East Northants will offer entrepreneurs the inspiration and support they need in the infancy of their business while they make key connections.”

“Our officers will provide expert advice and guidance for enterprises through training workshops and 1-2-1 support; it is our ambition to provide support for up to 205 businesses and creating up to 785 jobs in the first 10 years.”

ENC, which is delivering the project, received £1.69 million funding from SEMLEP’s Local Growth Fund towards the project and is working with industry specialists ASHE construction and Total Project Integration to deliver the centre.
