Somewhere to get away from it all

IRTHLINGBOROUGH’S best kept business secret… a busy, thriving business centre with great opportunities for companies to find space they need for impressive meetings and great presentations.

In the former Dr Martens site, near the A6/A45 junction, you will find numerous break-out areas, seven meeting and seminar rooms (different sizes) and a fantastic subsidised café. But it’s not just residents that can take advantage of the facilities available.

Just call 01933 697946 with your meeting requirements to see what’s available.

Major companies like Tesco, Whitworths, Kier, RBS and Waitrose have used the facilities for staff presentations, training and meetings. Smaller rooms are available for one-to-one meetings or smaller training sessions, especially important if you want to present a professional image. .

Owners Paul and Claire Garcia took over the running of the site in 2011 and today it’s a bustling business centre. With 50,000 square feet of meeting rooms and serviced offices, (from one to 20 desks), it’s home to many resident businesses in a varied range of sectors.

Claire said: “We have excellent meeting and seminar rooms, complete with presentation equipment such as pull-down screens and sound systems, as well as an excellent bistro that can provide catering in meetings where clients request it.

“Otherwise, they can break off from their meeting to visit the cafe, or enjoy a high quality coffee in our business lounge or one of the many break-out areas.”

Although easily accessible off the A6, Nene Business Centre backs onto a wildlife park, offering a tranquil setting and rural views to add to the feeling of ‘getting away from it all’. With a free car park for 300 cars it’s also easy to park.

“Often, it’s better for businesses to take their staff away from the office, so the phones aren’t ringing and they’re not distracted, and this is the perfect option, whether it’s a presentation to your whole company, or just somewhere quiet and private to hold training sessions or job interviews,” said Claire.
