WORK is under way on a cafe, gym and meeting room that will enhance the community benefits of businesses at Blisworth Hill Business Park.
Blisworth Hill is home to 24 diverse businesses that benefit from well-appointed traditional offices, ranging from 300 sq ft to 8,000 sq ft, some complete with York stone flooring, terracotta tiles and exposed wooden beams that give a sense of age and character to the buildings.
At the same time, the premises offer fibre optic broadband, unrestricted parking and Cat B energy performance (some of the recent ones have heat recovery air-conditioning systems) to offer a truly flexible space for the occupiers. Blisworth Hill also has its own green energy plant supplying 100 per cent renewable energy to the park, reducing the tenants' carbon footprint, and has also installed charge points for electric cars in response to requests from tenants.
It is hoped that by the end of the summer, residents will also be able to take advantage of the on-site private gym, a restaurant and cafe with seating for up to 30 people as well as a new meeting room.
Roy Taylor, of Blisworth Hill Properties, said: "The development offers high quality accommodation in a tranquil rural setting and once finished, the new gym, restaurant and meeting room will add to the benefits on offer.
"Raised access flooring means we can accommodate a number of office layouts, tailored to tenants' specification and with wiring for power and telecoms available wherever workstations are sited.
"The park has been an enormous success and we are currently at capacity, keeping prospective tenants on a waiting list for any space that should become available."
