Hopefully, that does not make us a jack of all trades! Recent advice over this potentially wide range of property would hopefully suggest not. Last year we advised on probably the largest transaction in the town, being at Oakley Hay, where we acquired a 64,000 sq ft warehouse and office HQ building for tenants, Creative Tops, from the Landlord OUP, represented by Budworth Hardcastle. We were also pleased to advise on probably the only freehold sale of top quality and unique property to Corby, being a 25,000 sq ft dedicated warehouse, which was a rare product in view of it having dock level loading, etc., for a building of this size. However, in Corby, we have also advised on a variety of different property and land as follows. We have advised a property investor on a prime roadside site of one acre, soliciting various types of occupier, which resulted in a potential record land price for the site from an A3 user. We have also advised on a variety of land sites, including substantial B8 warehouse land, and furthermore, the largest land with residential consent in the country, at Priors Hall for a potential purchaser. We have also advised on land suitable for health care and also retirement living. Our most recent advice extends to the Town Centre, where clients are acquiring a café and restaurant facility in Spencer Court, which will become a specialist night time amenity and bar for the evening trade.
