THERE’S no question that we’ve all noticed a huge increase in the amount of video content being shared online, with social media sites like Facebook giving priority to video posts, as well as introducing live video features, and daily story uploads. YouTube is the second largest search engine and is owned by Google… this says a lot!

Producing a video is no longer a luxury for those companies with a little extra marketing budget. The cost of professional video is now surprisingly affordable and a must-do for serious marketers. In a time where the human attention span is reported to be shorter than that of a goldfish – we as consumers demand trust worthy information fast, and with as little effort as possible. Whether you’re trying to increase phone enquiries, or generate trust in e-commerce product sales, video is an effective tool in conjunction with a well-structured sales journey. Using video also brings with it various SEO benefits too.

Importantly, as with any marketing idea if it’s not implemented properly then you shouldn’t expect great results. Unfortunately for many companies, they’ve been let down partly by agencies with little interest in results.
