Recruiter announces new position

IN recent months REED have successfully acquired 900 Pavilion Drive, situated on Northampton Business Park, where they will be relocating to from their current premises in the town centre.

Founded by Sir Alec Reed in 1960, REED has grown organically over the years and now operates on a global basis across Reed Specialist Recruitment, Reed in Partnership and reed.co.uk

The UK’s largest family-owned recruitment company’s purpose is ‘Improving Lives Through Work’, and their recent investment inspirits this purpose by ensuring their co-members have a working environment which they love and feel proud to work in.

This exciting venture will not only be a workspace for REED, but will be shared with other local businesses including current tenants FCC Environment and Online Direct. Over the next year, there will be significant investment made to the property with plans featuring an on-site cafe and shower facilities.

Once renovations to the property have been completed, REED will be moving to Northampton 900 and looking to welcome additional tenants to enjoy the space with them.

“We are delighted to be investing in Northampton as a major base for REED moving forward,” said Ian Nicholas, Chief HR Officer of the REED Group. “Over the past few years, we have grown our presence in Northampton, basing many of our central services here and growing our Reed Talent Solutions business from this centre. The procurement of 900 Pavilion Drive provides an opportunity for us to create a great working environment for our teams, as well as for those working at other business located in this building. We see it as being a flagship office, providing a showcase for customers wanting the best of REED. We have agreed investment plans to modernise and improve the building over the next few months and are excited by the whole project.”

Alisha Pacey, Area Manager, added: “The team and I are couldn’t be more delighted to be moving. As Northampton’s local branch of REED offering business and accountancy support, we will be on the doorstep of many of our partners. The move will enable us to offer a better service to our clients and even offer our meeting facilities out for interviews. We’re also excited to be part of the Northamptonshire business ‘hub’, in a prime location to offer neighbouring companies access to business development tools and networking events.”
