It’s still party season

THEY say variety is the spice of life, and at Kettering Park Hotel and Spa, there’s plenty on offer for everyone throughout 2020.

Although best known as a business meeting and conference venue; or as one of the leading restaurants in the area, and as an excellent gym and spa, Kettering Park Hotel also hosts a range of events, from tribute nights to wine tastings, to get everyone out and enjoying themselves, even during the cold winter months.

The Christmas party season is only just behind us but the celebrations don’t stop there and January means Burns Night, with bagpipers on arrival and a special three-course themed dinner and entertainment on Friday 24 January. Tickets are £37 per person.

On the following weekend, there’s a touch of nostalgia with an 80s Disco (Friday 31 January), followed by a 90s disco on Friday 24 April. Both events cost £29 per person and include a two-course meal and dancing to the hits of the decade.

Tribute nights are a regular feature at the hotel, and the 2020 line up begins on Friday 14 February with the hits of Elton John. Other famous names making an appearance in the form of a tribute act include Take That (13 March), Freddie Mercury (3 April) and the Spice Girls on 22 May. All tribute nights are £39 per person, which includes a three-course dinner, live entertainment and then dancing to a disco.

March also sees a special Mother’s Day three-course lunch with a glass of fizz on Sunday 22 (£29.95 per person) and a Jazz Night with dinner and live entertainment on Saturday, 28 March (tickets £36 per person).

For younger guests, there’s a Frozen themed afternoon tea on Thursday 20 February. Party entertainers, games and music will keep guests entertained while they enjoy their goodies, which will be followed by a film screening with popcorn. Tickets are £16 for children aged two to 12 years and £20 for older children and adults. Adults who don’t choose to have afternoon tea can pay £2 for unlimited refreshments throughout the event.

Janice Ashton, Head of Sales at Kettering Park Hotel and Spa, said: “There really is something for everyone, from family occasions like Mother’s Day and the Frozen Afternoon Tea, right through to dancing the night away to the sounds of the Eighties, or the songs of your favourite artists.

“The tribute and disco nights are an excellent way to get a few friends together for a celebration, such as a hen night or birthday, or simply to party together and, of course, we have some excellent room rates with full use of the spa, if guests want to make a weekend of it.”
