THE charms of Fawsley Hall have been making the right impression for hundreds of years and now a new generation of visitors are discovering just what makes it so special.

The experienced team from Handpicked Hotels have undertaken a £5 million refurbishment to transform the hall into a venue that meets the demands of today’s leisure and corporate lifestyles.

The Tudor hall, which boasts a 700-year history, may only be a short drive from Daventry but drive through the gates, set off a quiet, country lane, and the magic begins.
The hall, which has entertained royalty including Henry VIII and Elizabeth I, stands in 2000 acres of formal gardens and rolling parkland. The hall boasts seven function rooms, contemporary health club and spa, a 29-seater cinema and 60 bedrooms.

The refurbishment has included more room for those simply dropping in for afternoon tea while others will appreciate the changes in the Cedar Restaurant, which has been awarded 2 rosettes, while the hotel boasts 4 AA red stars.

Sales and Marketing manager Lucy Pilcher said: “We have spent a lot of time considering what our guests want and how we can make the most of the hall’s wonderful assets.”
Must haves like a good wi-fi connections and bonuses like a helipad are what helps Fawsley Hall stand out from the crowd. An attentive, yet not overbearing team, are committed to ensuring guests make the most of their stay.
For some guests this could mean a one-day business meeting in one of the exclusive, well-equipped function rooms before a meal in the spacious restaurant, which has its own private dining area.

Away from business, guests can relax in the spacious health club and spa, with its indoor and outside pools, gym and beauty treatment rooms featuring Elemis products.
It is understandable why guests choose the hall for special days including Christmas and New Year or for more personal events like family get-togethers. Brides welcome the exclusive use of the Georgian Knightley Court or in some cases, the entire hotel, where they will be given the team’s undivided attention.
