Fayre is a success

THE St. Christopher’s Christmas Fayre in November at the Abington Park Crescent care home, raised the fabulous sum of £2,133. Thanks go to everyone who donated, including a number of local companies, the numerous people who volunteered and the even more people who attended.

Caroline Morris, PR, Fundraising & Community Liaison Volunteer said: “The enthusiasm which was shown by the volunteers was overwhelming and little did we realise, we would have such a bumper attendance, which I know in the lounge sometimes left barely enough room to breathe.”

Monies will be used for the benefit of the residents with events arranged for them in the Home, or places they are taken to in the minibus.

Caroline added: “On behalf of everyone at St. Christopher’s a huge thank you to you all for making the £2,133 possible, and a Joyous Christmas and Health & Happiness in the New Year”.
