Where did you park? Did you get a ticket? wasn’t actually the next line in this Monty Python Shopping Sketch but it could have been.
Did you know that nearly three million parking fines were issued in the last three years and if you went to parts of London on a Saturday you would be more likely to receive one than in any other part of the UK or on any other day of the week! Recent analysis by UK Carline highlighted that parking in Brent in Greater London on a Saturday was the most likely place to get a ticket, an amazing 537,128 tickets were issued. This was closely followed by Croydon (Saturday) and Bristol (Tuesday). I can understand a Saturday, normally a busy day, but what happens in Bristol on a Tuesday then? Or in Ealing on a Wednesday? Answers on a postcard to our offices at the normal address!
