SPONSORSHIP from a leading Northamptonshire company has provided a major boost to a charity dinner with former Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher next month. OCM Wealth Management has been named as the main sponsor of the event, to be held at Northamptonshire County Cricket ground, Abington, on March 27. Hosted by Sky’s Soccer Saturday host Jeff Stelling, the event will include Sky Sports pundit Jamie’s story of his career with Liverpool and England. The dinner is the latest in a series of appearances by Jamie Carragher that began shortly after his retirement last summer with a Retirement Dinner at the Adelphi in Liverpool. Guests will enjoy dinner with entertainment, followed by Jamie and Jeff Stelling, as well as a charity auction in aid of Niamh’s Next Step, a local charity founded by Chris Curry in memory of his daughter, who died from neuroblastoma last year aged just five years. Jason Stather-Lodge of OCM Wealth Management, said: “This sounds like a fantastic event and when we heard that it will also help to raise money for Niamh’s Next Step, we were particularly keen to get involved.” The Accrington’s, a Beatles tribute band, will be performing throughout the evening. A table of 10 at the event is £1,000 plus VAT which includes a three-course meal, four bottles of wine and 10 bottles of premium lager per table. Individual tickets are available by request. Alan Spooner, co-founder of Business Times, is organising the event, for which there are just a few tables left. For further details contact 01234 950904, 07764 158518 or email
