A collaborative approach
The Growth Hub is a new facility designed to meet a wide range of business requirements and economic objectives and is the result of a collaborative approach by three partners – Northamptonshire Enterprise Partnership (NEP), The University of Northampton and Northamptonshire County Council.
Prior to launch, the partners spent three months working together to develop the Growth Hub model in order to improve the support offered to Northamptonshire businesses. The project is part of their can do methodology and is just one of a number of major initiatives for supporting transformational improvement in the Northamptonshire economy
An important resource for local enterprise
Tim Bagshaw, Head of Investment at NEP, said: “The Growth Hub reflects the county’s innovative approach and commitment to supporting businesses and is set to become an important resource for enterprises in Northamptonshire. The county is at the forefront of the UK’s economic recovery and with 50 per cent more business start-ups than the national average, nurturing growing businesses is central to this continued growth.”
The launch of the Growth Hub meets a number of the recommendations outlined in the Witty Review and Lord Young’s report. Businesses based in Northamptonshire, whatever their size, can contact the Growth Hub.
