Industry monitor Ofcom, however, has described the news as a “Landmark moment.” I was reading an article on the Guardian website recently and the writer was saying that “Two-thirds of adults now have a smartphone, up from 39% in 2012, and the amount of time we spend using them to go online has risen to one hour and 54 minutes per day.” That is a lot of time every day to be looking at your phone!
