Action Express, part of the UK’s largest independent parcel network, APC Overnight, has taken delivery of six new Mercedes-Benz sprinter vans to meet a 20 per cent growth in demand for the company’s next-day delivery services.
The firm’s investment in the new delivery vehicles will give staff even more flexibility to meet the demands of customers nationwide assisting the network to deliver more than a million parcels a month.
Founded in 1982 with just one van and a bicycle, Action Express has gone from strength to strength thanks to its commitment to providing exceptional service to a range of local businesses. As well as being a founding member of APC Overnight, the company is also a shareholding member of overnight palletised freight network, Pallet-Track.
