Investment in the future puts Fastline in the injector technology fast lane

Promotion

Fastline Northampton Diesel has been successfully testing and repairing diesel fuel pumps and injectors for more than 40 years.

Located within the engine, an injector in each cylinder sprays fuel into the engine in a precise way to ensure that all the fuel is burned as efficiently as possible.

The latest exhaust emission standards and future directives increase the significance of testing common rail injectors in modern diesel engines. Therefore the more precise the measurement is, the more accurately the injector can be adapted to perform at its maximum efficiency.

To modernise workflow and reduce set-up and test times, the company has invested in the latest technology, a Bosch DCI 700 injector test stand that uses a new high-speed precise measurement system.

Most makes of injector can be tested for both car and commercial vehicle engines. This will result in a shorter turnround time for the customer as well as providing a detailed analysis report from the test.

The new machine complements the recent purchase of a Hartridge Sabre Expert, a Delphi Diesel authorised test stand that also uses the latest technology to quickly measure injector performance.
