Double letting at speculative development

ACTING on behalf of clients, Hereford Storage, Drake Commercial are delighted to announce two new lettings at Manor Business Park, Woodford Halse.

Resource Secure Recovery Limited have taken a lease on units 6A and 6B which totals 12,750 sq ft. They have relocated the logistics arm of their business from Daventry to Woodford Halse having run their administrative function from an office on Manor Business Park for some time.

Further to the letting to Resource, Horsebox Seller Ltd have signed for 5,850 sq ft in unit 6C. They sell, purchase and maintain horse boxes for their loyal UK and worldwide client base.

In addition to Unit 6, a further 15,000 sq ft unit (Unit 5) is under construction and will be ready for occupation in January 2017. There is serious interest in this unit and as such the clients are already planning their next speculative development on the site which will see the construction of a 10,000 sq ft building which could be sub-divided into units from 3,000 sq ft.

As part of work on Manor Business Park, Hereford Storage have undertaken some infrastructure works and put in a new roadway which will open up the back portion of the site for development. In readiness for further development they have also prepared the ground for a new 15,000 sq ft unit behind Unit 5.

Joe Smith, Associate Partner at Drake Commercial said: “The lettings at Unit 6 prior to practical completion underpins our client’s decision to speculatively built these units. There are only six industrial units available up to 40,000 sq ft in Daventry at present. There is a severe lack of stock in the market and it is very pleasing to be able to fill this void with quality new-build units at Woodford Halse”.
