NEIL Mason Associates is setting out ambitious plans for growth over the coming months with the appointment of Tony Young as the firm’s newest building surveyor. Tony, who joins from Lambert Smith Hampton and, more recently, Travis Perkins, will work alongside Phil Weston and will play a key part in the company’s plan to expand the building surveying and project management side of the business. “We’re really pleased to welcome Tony to the team,” said Tom Mason, director at Neil Mason Associates. “He has worked with some high-profile clients on large projects and will be bringing his expertise to bear on a number of existing projects within the office. We’re looking to expand both the business and the services we can offer our clients, and we see Tony as a key part of that process.” The firm, which provides professional surveying services for the commercial property and healthcare sectors, has recently worked on some large high-profile projects throughout the Midlands, including project managing the new St Luke’s Surgery in Duston, Northampton, and acting on behalf of Uppingham Surgery to refurbish a former office building to provide a new medical centre and sell their former practice building to a residential buyer. The team is currently project managing a new build medical centre in Peterborough. As well as providing building surveys and schedules of condition and dilapidation, Tony will be working with both commercial and healthcare clients on planned maintenance schemes, party wall matters, contract administration, building pathology and industrial and commercial building refurbishment. If you have a project which you’d like to discuss with us or you’d like more information about our services, please contact Tony on 01604 799010 or email him at for an initial chat.
