Inter County Cleaning Services Ltd now offers a complete range of cleaning, property maintenance and janitorial supply services, and has now added Inter County Waste Management to its portfolio.
With a dedicated liveried van, the waste management service is an extension of Inter County’s own waste and recycling procedures and is being rolled out to commercial and domestic clients across the county.
Martine Harlow from Inter County Cleaning Services Ltd, said: “We had been using another company for our own waste and recycling needs for some time and it made sense to bring it in-house and offer it to our clients as it’s a natural fit with the rest of what we do”
“We clean a number of housing association premises, and will be dealing with their waste items. We can handle anything from recyclables to hazardous substances, electrical items and sanitary waste.”
“We will be offering this service as domestic service not just commercial.”
Clients range from national companies and local councils to small independent businesses, with many clients having used the company’s services since its early days. New business is usually gained by word of mouth recommendation.
Inter County Cleaning Services Ltd has a NEBOSH qualified operative, as well as holding corporate membership of the British Institute of Cleaning Science and accreditations such as ISO 9001:2008, Investors in People, CHAS, Worksafe Contractor and Construction-line. The firm has also just become members of the Federation of Window Cleaning.
Although based in Northamptonshire, Inter County also operates throughout Cambridgeshire, Buckinghamshire, Leicestershire, Rutland , Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire. In 2013, Inter County expanded into Birmingham and Coventry after purchasing two additional cleaning companies.
In 2014, the company asset purchased a large local janitorial company which enabled it to expand the range of janitorial products and it is now a local distributor for many big name companies such as Selden and Numatic.
