HISTORIC Rushton Hall’s spectacular new Orangery will be hosting its first events in under a year.

Bookings are already being taken for the venue, the first of its kind in the Midlands, which promises to be an impressive addition to the magnificent Grade 1 listed Four Red Star Hotel which stands in 25 acres of grounds.

The Orangery, which can seat up to 300 people, is due for completion in July 2017. It will mark a new era for the hotel which is already the only venue in the county to boast a Three Rosette Restaurant.

The planning process has taken more than ten years and has the support of English Heritage who have backed the decision to replace the current Pavilion with The Orangery which has been designed to blend effortlessly with the original building.

Head of Sales and Marketing Tom Gilbert said: “We have taken many years to get to this stage but we believe the new space will be well worth the wait.

“There are few other venues with this capacity who can boast such a fantastic location.”

Meticulous attention to the finer details will ensure the design of The Orangery can be used for a wide range of uses. Alongside traditional weddings and conferences there are hopes the space will appeal to organisers of product launches, music events and one-off events.

While the development project is underway the venue’s experienced team continue to welcome guests who want to make the most of the facilities including The Stableyard Spa. This boasts a stunning pool, indoor and outdoor spas, steam room, fitness suite and treatment rooms.

Bookings are also being taken for festive celebrations and special events. These include in November 5th an opportunity to celebrate Bonfire Night at the hall which was once the home of Francis Tresham who played a key role in the Gunpowder Plot.

Tom said: “We are already very proud of what Rushton Hall has on offer and in the coming months look forward to welcoming guests to enjoy this amazing venue. The opening of The Orangery will completely change the offering we have and mean even more people can discover this amazing venue.”
